Pool Training has now ended and there is no training this weekend.
Beach training will commence on Sunday May 15th.
Don't forget the Gala that is coming up shortly at Penyrheol Pool - which should be great fun for you all.

Dear Nippers
To mark the end of pool training and congratulate you all on your hard work - Mike Davies has organised an in- house competition at Penyrheol LC on Saturday 23rd April from 1.30pm.
Fun for all and medals to be won.
This will be a team event, each team will include nippers of all 6 age groups and will be mixed.
There will be refreshments after the event - venue t.b.c.
Cost £5 per nipper payable at the event.

We would just like to say a BIG thank you to all of you who competed today, as well as as the parents, helpers, timekeepers and coffee providers...............
You were a great team and pleasure to look after.
You worked so hard - and it was a very long day ( we think the slides next door helped the day along), and with such stiff competition, you did amazingly well coming 4th overall, which was amazing.
A special thank you to Rosa and Toby - who competed today, and were fantastic, without them we couldn't have entered the board relays in which you all did so well.
You all deserve a huge pat on the back.

Training is for all those competing at the Welsh Championships on Sunday , January 17th only.
All age groups to tend the whole session.
Please don't forget to bring your fins, goggles, drinks and something to wear poolside (there may be some hanging around).

This is the only competition over the winter period, and we would appreciate full attendance by all our members as this is a TEAM event.
All new members are encouraged to take part.
Here are the Programme of Events and the entry form - which needs to be returned by Saturday, December 12th to Bethan, Sharon or Sadie at poolside.
It is only a one day event - and it is necessary that all competitors be present all day (unless you are told otherwise by the coaches).

There will be a bag of recycled fins for nippers to try - please take them if they fit and recycle your old ones.

Please receive the attached for the forthcoming pool season. There is no more beach training for any age group other than for those doing their beach lifeguard exam (details of this training to follow).
Nipper training will start back as can be seen on the calendar on Saturday 3rd October.
Can everyone keep in touch with each other due to the issues with the club email account it would appear because of changes with gmail filters we have been identified as scammers and the majority of emails are being returned. We can still receive emails though and reply to individuals. Anyone who has any knowledge of how to resolve this please can you reply and Rachel Thomas will contact you to assist.
Also a cheeky little reminder that memberships are due on the 1st October and will be subject of another email. Unfortunately due to a rise in Pool charges at Bishop Gore and WNPS along with the damage sustained to the hut we have had to increase the annual fees. Fees have not been increase for many a year now and we have kept these to a minimum.

We were thrilled to be invited to lead out the teams for the indoor part of the European Lifeguard Championships in the National Pool on the 2nd of August
As you can see the kids looked great and were a credit to the club!
For the duration of the summer holidays there will be NO WEDNESDAY TRAINING. Report on Sundays for 09:30 as usual.
